Microsoft Off Campus 2026 : Microsoft, the tech giant behind Azure—one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing cloud computing platforms—is officially hiring for its 2026 Off Campus Drive. They are looking for highly motivated students to join their Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team as Data Center Technician Interns at their massive data center facilities in Chennai and Pune.
If you have a strong passion for hardware, networking, and the physical infrastructure that powers the internet, this internship is an incredible gateway into the world of hyperscale cloud computing!
About Microsoft :
Founded in 1975, Microsoft is a global technology pioneer that empowers every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. While famously known for Windows and Office, Microsoft’s biggest growth engine today is Microsoft Azure—one of the largest, most secure, and fastest-growing cloud computing platforms in the world.
To support the massive global demand for cloud services, AI computing, and enterprise software, Microsoft operates a vast network of hyperscale Data Centers. The Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team is the backbone of this infrastructure, responsible for designing, building, and operating these highly secure facilities.
Job Description :
As a Microsoft Data Center Technician Intern, you will be at the cutting edge of global cloud computing. This is not a typical desk job for a software engineer. It is a very active, hands-on job in the secure, physical facilities that run Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and AI infrastructure.
You will connect hardware to the cloud during this internship. You will work with senior technicians to set up, fix, and keep running the huge numbers of server racks and networking equipment that keep the internet running all the time. You will get a unique look at how hyperscale cloud infrastructure works on a physical level by unboxing and racking enterprise-grade servers, running complicated fiber-optic cables, and figuring out what went wrong with physical hardware.
